That Time I Walked on Fire (and Found Confidence in the Craziest Way)

14th May 2025 1 min read

Throwback to one of the most unforgettable moments of my life:

Strutting across hot coals in nothing but bikini bottoms, nipple covers, and a big ol’ dose of confidence.

Yes — it was hot in every sense of the word.

Daring. Exciting. Slightly terrifying.

And totally brilliant.

Why? Because I wasn’t alone.

I was surrounded by a group of equally bonkers, beautiful women — all laughing, cheering, and doing the terrifying thing together.

We toasted our toes (literally), and we came away feeling like warriors.

So Why Am I Sharing This on a Photography Blog?

Because this fire walk taught me something that shows up in my studio every single week: Confidence isn’t about how you look. It’s about doing the bold thing anyway.

You don’t need to walk on fire to prove you’re strong.

Sometimes you just need to say yes to something outside your comfort zone — Like booking a photoshoot.

Or showing up for yourself, unapologetically.

Or dancing in your pants in the living room because life’s too short not to.

My Studio Is for Women Like This

The ones who:

Doubt themselves but show up anyway.

Want to feel seen and celebrated.

Are brave enough to do the shoot, try the class, or say “why not?”

You don’t need nipple covers (though I’ve seen worse at a boudoir shoot!) —

You just need a little curiosity and a pinch of boldness.

Have You Ever Done Something Just for the Fun of It?

If it made you feel alive, it was worth it.

And if you’re ready to feel that again — I know a few ways I can help.

From confidence-boosting photoshoots to fitness classes for real women, my studio’s all about those “I didn’t think I could, but I did it anyway” moments.
