Introducing MUDDY HOODY

This is slowing becoming a series of eBooks featuring Ginny's Husband, Christopher Hood. A personal exploration into dealing with anxiety and mental health by escaping into nature. We had never heard of grounding techniques to deal with anxiety and stress but this is exactly what we have discovered works for us.

These stories feature beautifully captured, high-resolution images of non-sexual male nudity throughout as Christopher Hood was transformed into Muddy Hoody.

Each book costs £4

Muddy Hoody - Book 1

This is my story about one day in late November 2020 when something had to be done about lockdown stress and anxiety.
Head out to the middle of nowhere (well a small woodland in North Lincolnshire) and run wild and naked through the mud.
This eBook features the fully illustrated story of that day. A light-hearted and positive account of what we did, why we did it and the lasting impression it had on me. Non-sexual male nudity is depicted throughout in beautiful high-resolution images captured by Ginny’s Photography.

With this story I could not be any more exposed and vulnerable, but I survived and the only reactions I have had are positive, encouraging and of gratitude. A naturist story not just for naturists. It's all about looking for your own form of escapism.

“Wondering naked through a muddy forest in the spring morning sunshine was like hitting the reset button on my mental health. Refocusing and clearing a mixed-up mind.” Christopher Hood

Here Christopher ran naked and free through the Lincolnshire woodlands, by bearing all to the elements and connecting like never before to the natural world.

After the most turbulent year turning ours and everyone’s lives upside down we needed an escape, even if this was just for one morning! The idea was simple -

We found the perfect day. Following plenty of rain the woodland floor was incredibly wet and muddy, yet the sun
was beginning to shine through. Despite the temperature not pushing the mercury beyond a shocking 4°C I braved the cold and went for it.

Download this 30 page story about my personal experience of mental health worries. All told from a male perspective as a catalyst to start the conversation. Every small conversation can have a big difference. Male mental health is too often ignored as it is incredibly difficult for men to show any signs of weakness.

Muddy Hoody - Book 2

A return to the Muddy Hoody series, although this time in a much warmer season. The first Muddy Hoody story was released in February 2021 recapping the naked exploits of Christopher from the previous November.

Now in 2022, we find ourselves back in the woods, naked and reconnecting with nature. We are grounding our physical, emotional, and mental states. This is a story about fighting back against anxiety, stress, and overall poor mental health. It’s about realising that there is an issue which needs addressing.
At the time of release, we had no idea how far and wide this story would travel or the conversations it would initiate.

The overwhelming response has been incredible but the main point is that we have got people talking about mental health and kicked off the conversation around male mental health especially.

You may be able to identify with my reasoning and the triggers may resonate with you. This is just one answer which I have found works for me. We each need to find our own answers, although nothing is stopping you giving mine a go… Only you. This is my story of escapism stripped bare.
